Mad About ‘Blue’: The Rev. Donald Wildmon, the Mississippi fundamentalist minister who has staged protests against several television shows and movies, is now targeting the upcoming ABC series “NYPD Blue,” calling it an “R-rated program.” In a full-page newspaper ad that appeared in The Times Tuesday, Wildmon’s American Family Assn. declared that it was angered by news accounts saying the show, produced by “Hill Street Blues” creator Steven Bochco, will contain nudity. The ad asks viewers to send in a protest form that will be forwarded to ABC and potential advertisers. Bochco and ABC declined comment.
