Services Set for Activist Rick Saslaw
A memorial service for Rick Saslaw, Democratic political activist and former chief of staff for the California Democratic Council, has been scheduled for 4 p.m. Friday in William S. Hart Park, West Hollywood. Saslaw, 40, died May 25 in Los Angeles of complications of AIDS.
The memorial service will be sponsored by the California Democratic Party, California Democratic Council, Southern California Americans for Democratic Action, Stonewall Democratic Club and Aid for AIDS. Memorial contributions can be made to Aid for AIDS, 8235 Santa Monica Blvd. Suite 200, Los Angeles, Calif. 90046.
