Quaker State Corp. said its board of directors has elected Herbert M. Baum as the company’s new chairman and chief executive.
Baum, president of Campbell Soup Co.’s North and South America division since January, 1992, replaces Jack W. Corn, who is retiring but will continue to serve as a director. Corn had been CEO since 1988.
Quaker State produces and markets motor oils and lubricants and markets automotive products and services.
