Datron Systems Reports $11 Million in Orders

Datron Systems Inc., a Simi Valley maker of communications systems for commercial and defense markets, said it has booked more than $11 million in new orders since April 1, the start of its fiscal year.

The strong level of new orders includes $6.8 million in shipboard pedestals for the U. S. Navy’s MILSTAR military satellite program, and $2.8 million in orders for its radio products from a variety of foreign customers.

Datron also said it completed a $400,000 shipment of equipment for private satellite telephone systems to Latvia and Ukraine.
