Illinois Gov. Edgar Has Gall Bladder Surgery
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. â Gov. Jim Edgar underwent surgery to remove an inflamed gall bladder Friday morning and the surgeon who performed the operation said it went âjust fine.â Dr. Keith Wichterman said Edgar, 46, could be released this morning.
