Ford to Enter Chinese Market: The U.S. auto maker said it has chosen its first five independently franchised dealerships in mainland China to sell Crown Victoria, Ford Taurus, Tempo and Lincoln Town cars and the Aerostar minivan. All will be changed to include engines for leaded gas and, in some cases, strengthened suspensions and heavy-duty electrical components, the company said. Ford Motor Co. joins a fleet of car companies already selling vehicles to the increasingly wealthy Chinese consumers.
