Fluor Daniel Wins Pact to Monitor Toxic Waste Work

Fluor Daniel Inc. said Thursday it has won a contract worth $20 million from the Army Corps of Engineers to provide environmental and hazardous waste monitoring services at military bases across the nation.

Fluor Daniel, the engineering and construction subsidiary of Fluor Corp., said the one-year contract also has options for another two years.

Fluor Daniel will oversee cleanup projects, investigate possible hazardous waste sites and provide other engineering services for Army, Air Force and Superfund sites. The work is expected to start next month.
