CAMARILLO : Rent-Review Panel Seeks New Volunteer Member
Camarillo city officials are accepting applications from residents interested in serving on a panel that mediates disputes between landlords and tenants.
The five-member Camarillo Rent Review Commission has a vacancy for a member representing the public.
The commission, which issues non-binding decisions on disputes over rent increases, has three public members, one tenant representative and one landlord representative.
The commission meets whenever a landlord or tenant requests a hearing, which usually occurs about once a year.
To apply for the volunteer position, call City Clerk Marilyn Thiel at 388-5315.
