Politicians and PlowBoys Market

Many Americans still promote socialism and communism. An example of this discredited economics is the plan of the city of Hawaiian Gardens to condemn and seize the private property in and around PlowBoys market (Times, June 24). How ironic that while the Russians are selling and giving property to private owners, here we have government stealing property!

Just as our federal and state governments are beginning to downsize and redesign, let the politicians in Hawaiian Gardens do the same. They say PlowBoys is “blighted and in need of redevelopment”; I say the Hawaiian Gardens politicians are blighted and in need of redevelopment at the ballot box. Stop City Hall before it is too late!
