Bottle Fans Are Privy to Secret of Skeleton

Antique hunters digging up an old outhouse site found a skeleton, and now police are trying to identify the remains and determine how they got there.

Bottles were commonly thrown in outhouses, so bottle hunters look for those locations to dig, police said Monday.

Authorities who removed the skeleton, which was in an upright position, found bottles around the bones dating to the 1880s. The skeleton was sent to the state crime laboratory to determine the age of the bones and when they were buried.
