Coleman Chamber Concerts Schedule Set

The 90th anniversary season of Coleman Chamber Concerts again will offer six events, beginning Oct. 7 and closing May 8, 1994.

The opening concert will be given by the Emerson String Quartet, to be followed with a Pasadena appearance by the Cassatt String Quartet on Nov. 14.

Two more critically acclaimed ensembles, the Borodin Quartet on Jan. 16 and the Quartet Sine Nomine of Lausanne on Feb. 13, visit the Caltech series during the winter.

The Academy of St. Martin in the Fields Chamber Ensemble will play for the Coleman audience March 13 during its North American debut tour. Closing the series for 1993-94 will be violinist Cho-Liang Lin and pianist Andre-Michel Schub on May 8.

All concerts are presented in Beckman Auditorium at Caltech in Pasadena, Sunday afternoons at 3:30.
