COVER ME: “Heh-heh-heh-heh-heh . . . huh-huh-huh-huh-huh . . . Being on the cover of Rolling Stone is cool!” It’s true--MTV’s knock-kneed veejays from hell, Beavis and Butt-head, will grace the magazine’s Aug. 3 cover, accompanied by a probing interview.

If they had half a brain, the two animated twits--who sport Metallica and AC/DC T-shirts and are known to sniff paint thinner--might quit their day jobs flipping burgers and parlay the cover into a three-picture deal. By the way, they’re not the first cartoon characters to get the cover slot. Both Bart Simpson and Arnold Schwarzenegger already had the honor.
