Let’s Keep the Balance Between Rural, Modern
* In response to your story, “Petting Zoo Owner Begins Appeals Process,” July 9:
Where else can one go to see a goat being born, sit on a tractor, ride a fast pony or pet a llama? As a Valley resident and mother, I have taken my son there many times for birthday parties and preschool field trips. It would be a sad day if Linda Menary’s farm no longer existed.
We must preserve what little of our rural San Fernando Valley landscape is left. Bit by bit it is being transformed into more postmodern mini-malls and stucco suburban boxes. Let’s have some balance here!
