IMF Loans Available Once Arrears Are Settled: International financial institutions will send officials to Vietnam for detailed talks on projects once its arrears to the International Monetary Fund are settled, the government said. A Foreign Ministry spokeswoman welcomed a statement by an IMF spokesman in Washington that Vietnam would be entitled to fresh IMF loans once it had settled the $140-million debt.
