Gulfstream Aerospace Cuts 645 Jobs: The ailing top-of-the-line business jet maker has cut about 13% of its work force, completing a restructuring program. Most of the jobs were eliminated through early retirements, said the privately held, Savannah, Ga.-based concern. Most cuts were in the Savannah headquarters, though staffing was also reduced at smaller facilities in Oklahoma City and Long Beach, a spokeswoman said.
