Federal agents Tuesday arrested a 20-year-old reputed gang member wanted by Mexican police in connection with the shooting death of the cardinal of Guadalajara, bringing the total number of suspects in custody to seven.

A team of Drug Enforcement Administration agents, U.S. marshals and city police arrested Carlos Enrique Garcia Martinez at his mother’s house in the Logan Heights barrio, said DEA spokesman Jack Hook. Known by the street name “Tarzan,” Garcia is reportedly a member of the Calle Treinta (30th Street) gang, which was allegedly involved in the May 24 shooting in Guadalajara.
