Ford to Recall Three Models: Ford Motor Co. said it plans to recall about 500,000 Ford Taurus, Mercury Sable and Lincoln Continental cars because of corrosion in the engine and transmission subframes. Cars affected by the recall include 1986-88 Taurus and Sable cars and 1988-model Continentals, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, which was notified by Ford about the problem last month.
