Solar Electric Engineering to Buy Nordskog Electric Vehicles: The rapidly expanding company, headquartered in Sebastopol, Calif., announced that it is acquiring Redlands-based Nordskog Electric Vehicles, manufacturer of industrial electric vehicles since 1946. The deal will involve an undisclosed amount of cash and stock, according to Don Bright of Solar Electric. Solar Electric, which has converted more passenger cars to electric power than any other modern manufacturer, will expand its line to include Nordskog’s small industrial vehicles, larger trucks, vans and shuttle buses. It will also incorporate Nordskog’s dealer network of more than 70 locations.
