Guerrillas Attack ‘Security Zone’

NABATIYEH, Lebanon — Guerrillas attacked an outpost of Israeli-allied militiamen in south Lebanon on Thursday and fired seven rockets into Israel’s self-declared “security zone” along the border.
Security sources said two militiaman were wounded in the attack, which touched off an hour of mortar and rocket exchanges.
The victims from the Israeli-affiliated South Lebanon Army militia were the first casualties in the region since a cease-fire Saturday halted Israel’s weeklong military blitz of suspected Muslim guerrilla bases.
The sources said Thursday’s clash was minor and apparently posed no perils to the truce.
