Utah Prison Uprising Put Down; None Injured

GUNNISON, Utah —
SWAT teams quelled a prison uprising after about 35 inmates took over a maximum security wing for five hours, burning bed sheets and breaking windows, authorities said. There were no injuries and no guards were taken hostage in the Monday night incident, said Jack Ford, a spokesman for the Utah Corrections Department.
