Johnson & Johnson to Cut 3,000 Jobs: The health care products manufacturer estimated that at least 1,000 workers at its headquarters and operating units will accept a voluntary early retirement offer and said another 2,000 jobs will be cut through restructuring. Johnson & Johnson said the move will cost $200 million pretax and was covered in a previous adoption of an accounting change. The company said the program is aimed at workers who are at least 50 years old.
