Executive at BSB West in Irvine Promoted to Senior Vice President

William Halladay has been promoted to senior vice president and associate creative director at BSB West in Irvine, an office of the Backer Spielvogel Bates Inc. advertising agency. Halladay joined the firm in 1990 as a vice president and associate creative director on the Hyundai Motor America account. Before that, he worked for more than 20 years for advertising agencies in Los Angeles and New York, including Wells Rich Greene, Needham Harper Steers, Lord Geller Federico Einstein and Hal Riney & Partners.

Stephen B. Schwartz has been elected to the board of directors of Western Digital Corp., an Irvine computer products company. Schwartz had previously been a senior vice president with IBM Corp. before retiring in December, 1992.

Gretchen Fry has been appointed vice president and Orange County sales manager for World Title Co. in Irvine. She was previously a residential sales representative for Gateway Title Co.

Fred Miller has received a fellowship promotion at Silicon Systems, a semiconductor company in Tustin. The position is roughly equal to that of a director on the company’s administrative level.

Dawn Didion has been appointed executive director at the Rossmoor Regency, a 192-unit apartment building for senior citizens in Laguna Hills. She was formerly vice president of operations at Health Care Group Inc. in San Diego.
