Incomnet Shows Quarter, 6-Month Period Profits
Incomnet Inc., a Woodland Hills telecommunications company, reported profits for its latest quarter and six-month period, in contrast with year-earlier losses, while its revenues more than doubled.
In the second quarter ended June 30, Incomnet earned $306,227 on revenue of $2.64 million. A year before, the company lost $222,898 on $1.24 million in revenue.
For the six months, Incomnet had net income of $54,822, versus a loss of $68,090 in the comparable period in 1992. Its revenue totaled $4.75 million, up from $1.8 million a year before.
The company attributed its turnaround to the improved performance of its National Telephone & Communications subsidiary, a reseller of long-distance telephone services.
