Lakewood : City Hall Hours Extended, Closed on Alternate Fridays

Beginning Aug. 27, Lakewood City Hall will be closed every other Friday.
On days the building is open, however, Lakewood residents will be able to arrive earlier and stay later to seek permits, ask questions or complain to elected officials. Starting this week, City Hall will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., rather than 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Some city services, such as the cashier and building services counter, will open at 7 a.m. Parks supervisors, parking control officers and employees of Sycamore Plaza, the city’s conference facility, will continue to work regular schedules.
