* Ed Morton has been promoted to vice president of sales for Advanced Interventional Systems, an Irvine medical device company. Morton joined the company in 1988 as national sales manager and was appointed director of sales later that year. After a brief period with a start-up venture, Morton rejoined Advanced Interventional in November, 1992, as director of sales.
