World IN BRIEF : NORTH KOREA : Nuclear Accident Said to Kill Hundreds

Hundreds of people died in a North Korean nuclear accident while trying to hide a reactor from international inspectors, a North Korean defector said in Seoul, the South Korean capital. Im Young Sun, 30, also said that underground nuclear tests are being conducted at Yongbyon, 60 miles north of Pyongyang. None of Im’s allegations could be confirmed.
