Bizarre Incident That’s Not for the Sheepish

PONTYPRIDD, Wales — The rural calm of Welsh hill country sheep farms has been rocked by a bizarre vendetta against a local farmer who found 41 sheep heads at his gate.
Police said Wednesday that farmer Gerald Mason woke this week to find the gruesome message along with a sign reading: “You will not win this time, Masons.”
“It’s a particularly unpleasant incident,” a police officer said.
Mason appeared in court last year over a sheep stealing case but the case was withdrawn because of lack of evidence. Police declined to speculate whether that case might be behind the message of the sheep heads.
