As if his pass and run blockers didn’t perform well enough in Saturday’s 49-7 rout of Houston, offensive line coach Mike Barry found another player who graded very high during Sunday and Monday film reviews by the coaching staff.
Starting freshman tailback David Dotson blocked like a much bigger player, Barry said. Dotson is 5-11, 185.
“On some of the fullback run plays, Dotson was putting his helmet right on their mustaches,” Barry said.
