The following are selected entries from the crime logs of local law enforcement agencies between Sept. 6 and Sept. 12:
Glendale
East Harvard Street, 1100 block--A man posing as a roof repairman entered a woman’s house and stole her wallet containing $1,000 at 1 p.m. Sept. 9.
Avenue, 900 block--Thieves punched a hole through a wood door and stole dresses valued at $7,233 from a clothing manufacturer Sept. 9 or 10.
South Brand Boulevard, 1800 block--While one thief diverted the attention of a rental company employee, a second thief stole a pressure washer valued at $1,702 from the company yard at 1:20 p.m. Sept. 10.
North Verdugo Road, 1500 block--Vandals lit a banner hanging on a gas station door, shattering the glass and causing $125 worth of damage at 10:10 p.m. Sept. 10.
Riverside Drive and Justin Avenue--A thief grabbed a woman’s purse containing $60 at 7:40 p.m. Sept. 11.
North Orange Street, 500 block--Vandals poured a flammable liquid on the side of a car belonging to a theater manager and ignited the substance at 11:45 p.m. Sept. 11.
La Crescenta
Foothill Boulevard and Glenwood Avenue-- A thief took a woman’s wallet containing $55 at 7 p.m. Sept. 6.
Eagle Rock
Campus Road, 1600 block--Thieves entered a student housing facility and stole computer equipment valued at $3,000 in a theft discovered Sept. 7.
Langdale Avenue, 2500 block--After entering through the rear window of a residence, thieves stole video equipment and cassettes or records, valued together at $1,900, between 7:45 a.m. and 6:45 p.m. Sept. 7.
College View Place, 1700 block--Thieves forced open a rear window and stole cash and video equipment valued together at $1,000 from a residence between 7:40 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Sept. 8.
Campus Road, 1600 block--After entering a classroom through an unlocked door, thieves stole camera equipment, valued together at $7,000, from a university between 6:30 and 9:30 p.m. Sept. 8.
Norwalk Avenue, 2100 block--Thieves asked a woman for directions then grabbed her purse containing $105 at 12:10 a.m. Sept. 9.
Brampton Road, 1300 block--After prying open the garage door of a residence, thieves stole tools valued at $2,000 between 6:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Sept. 9.
Escarpa Drive, 1900 block--A thief stealing video equipment valued at $450 from a home was caught by the resident, then fled after simulating having a gun at 10:05 a.m. Sept. 10.
Fair Park Avenue, 2200 block--Thieves in a car drove next to a woman, reached out of the window and took her purse containing $90 at 3:10 p.m. Sept. 11.
Norwalk Avenue, 2200 block--Thieves cut the window screen of a residence and stole camera equipment and jewelry, valued together at $1,705, between 5 and 11:50 p.m. Sept. 11.
Addison Way, 2200 block--After prying off the side screen of a residence, thieves stole cash and a radio, valued together at $1,389, between 5:45 and 11:45 p.m. Sept. 11.
Tonawanda Avenue, 1500 block--As a man got out of his car, thieves pointed a gun at him and stole cash and food, valued together at $121, at 10:30 p.m. Sept. 11.
Echo Park
Glendale Boulevard, 1300 block--Thieves posing as customers ordered donuts and hot chocolate, then pulled a gun and stole $27 at 8:10 a.m. Sept. 6.
Riverside Drive and Newell Street--A thief grabbed a woman’s purse containing $605 at 2 p.m. Sept. 6.
Grafton Street, 1700 block--After smashing a bedroom window, thieves ransacked a residence and stole jewelry and tapes and records valued together at $1,300 between 8 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Sept. 8.
West Sunset Boulevard, 1700 block--Thieves with a gun posed as customers then stole $105 from a business at 2:20 p.m. Sept. 8.
Glassell Park
Drew Street, 3300 block--While a man tried to sell a microwave to some bystanders, a thief jumped into the man’s van and stole the vehicle at 2:30 a.m. Sept. 9.
Eagle Rock Boulevard, 4000 block--Thieves approached a man in a carwash and held a knife to his stomach as they stole $380 at 8 p.m. Sept. 10.
San Fernando Road, 3100 block--After ordering a dozen donuts, a thief with a gun stole $80 from the store at 4 a.m. Sept. 11.
Highland Park
Meridian and Kirby Streets--Thieves bumped the rear of a woman’s car, then pulled a gun and stole $65 at 12:30 p.m. Sept. 6.
North Figueroa Street, 5800 block--Thieves wielding screwdrivers stole pizzas and $67 from a delivery person at 8:50 p.m. Sept. 7.
South Avenue 52, 200 block--Thieves with a gun stole $25 from a man in his front yard at 10:10 p.m. Sept. 8.
Monte Vista Street and Avenue 54--When a woman waiting for a bus saw a thief running at her, she ran into the street, only to be pushed down by the thief who stole her purse containing $506 at 5:55 a.m. Sept. 9.
Los Feliz
Finley Avenue, 4500 block--Using either a key or a lock pick, thieves entered a residence and stole a radio and video equipment valued at $2,700 in a theft discovered Sept. 6.
Boulevard, 4500 block--Thieves with a gun forced a woman to withdraw $4,000 from her bank between 1:45 and 3:30 p.m. Sept. 9.
Manzanita Street, 1400 block--Thieves pried open a front bedroom window and stole camera equipment and jewelry, valued at $4,970, between 7:10 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. Sept. 10.
Virgil Avenue and Sunset Boulevard--Thieves pointed a knife at a man and stole his ring valued at $300 at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 10.
Mount Washington
West Avenue 45, 1700 block--A thief with a gun stole $250 from a woman in a parking facility at 7:15 p.m. Sept. 6.
Silver Lake
Riverside Drive, 2800 block--Thieves stole video equipment and a radio, valued together at $2,070, from a residence between 8:20 a.m. and 7 p.m. Sept. 7.
Riverside Drive, 2800 block--Video and camera equipment, valued together at $1,080, were stolen from a home between 9:15 a.m. and 7 p.m. Sept. 7.
Boulevard, 2400 block--Thieves entered a residence and stole cash and jewelry, valued together at $4,400, between 5 a.m. and 3 p.m. Sept. 8.
Clayton Avenue, 4300 block--After prying open a front door, thieves ransacked a residence and stole a gun and jewelry, valued together at $2,345, between 8:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Sept. 8.
Rotary Drive, 1600 block--Thieves removed the louvers from a window to enter a residence and steal computer and video equipment, valued together at $1,650, between 9 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. Sept. 8.
Evans Street, 3700 block--A woman parked her car in her stall when a thief pulled up next to her, simulated having a gun and stole her purse containing credit cards and $180 at 9:15 p.m. Sept. 9.
Rowena Avenue, 2900 block--Thieves entered through a side window to steal a TV and a radio, valued together at $1,649, from a residence at 9:50 p.m. Sept. 11.
