Beverly Hills Fan Reports Higher Profit in Quarter

Beverly Hills Fan Co., a Woodland Hills supplier of ceiling fans and lights, reported higher profits on a 21% increase in revenue for its fiscal third quarter that ended July 31.
For the latest quarter, the company had a profit of $66,000 on sales of $2.19 million. That compares with a net income of $3,000 on sales of $1.81 million a year earlier.
For the nine months that ended July 31, Beverly Hills Fan posted a profit of $110,000, a 64% decline from earnings of $305,000 a year earlier. Revenue for the nine months is down 17%, to $5.51 million from $6.61 million.
