Datametrics Sells, Converts Preferred to Common

Datametrics Corp., a Chatsworth supplier of printers and other products for computers, said it sold and converted to common stock all of the preferred stock holdings from venture capitalists who provided financing in 1986.

Datametrics said the elimination of the original 2.2 million Series A preferred shares will help the company by removing restrictive covenants and dividend obligations that came with those shares.
