Cimco, AST Sign Deal: Cimco Inc. of Costa Mesa, a maker of plastic parts, said Wednesday it has signed an agreement to supply Irvine computer maker AST Research Inc. with plastic parts for portable computers. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Cimco said signing up computer makers is part of a strategy to broaden its customer base.
