Dense-Pac Microsystems Inc: The Garden Grove manufacturer of memory subsystems reported a second-quarter profit of $241,410, or 2 cents a share, compared to $53,980, or no cents a share for the corresponding period last year. Sales for the quarter ended Aug. 31 were up 48%, to $3.1 million from $2.1 million. A profit of $558,668, or 4 cents a share, was posted for the first half, compared to $124,245, or 1 cent a share, for the first six months a year ago. Sales rose 45%, to $5.8 million from $4 million.
