* Re “Key Council Panel OKs Playa Vista Development,” Sept. 15: The approval of this high-density project is just another reason why the average person has lost all faith in government. You don’t need a thousand-page environmental report to tell you this project is too big. All you have to do is stand atop the Westchester bluffs and look down on the proposed building site and the roads leading into it. The 29,000 residents will be stacked like bees in a hive. Hats off to the politicians who approved this dinosaur. Their names should be engraved on a monument to the traffic jams, air pollution and other miseries that this monstrous development will create.
