German Beauty Firm Will Buy Most of Sebastian Inc.

Germany’s Wella Corp. said it will acquire a majority interest in Woodland Hills-based Sebastian Inc. USA for an undisclosed sum.
The two beauty and hair-products companies will continue operating separately.
Sebastian manufactures Sharper, Laminates and Cellophanes brand products. Wella makes hair colorings and wave products, appliances and salon furniture.
