Pacific Palisades : Back-to-School Night Oct. 12
Palisades High School will have Back-to-School Night on Oct. 12 from 7:30 to 9 p.m.
Parents are invited to spend the evening touring the school and following their child’s class schedule. Teachers will inform them of course objectives, requirements, homework policies and grading standards. Visitors will also be shown the school library and may join parent involvement groups and enjoy refreshments provided by the PTA.
The school will hold elections at 6:30 p.m. that evening to select parents and community members for next year’s school-based management council and to vote on a new three-year proposal. Parents and community members can get applications and copies of the proposal at the high school’s main office. In addition, parents of 9th- and 10-grade charter students can apply to run for the Palisades Charter High School Governance Council.
