Retailer Fedco Hiring 600 to Staff Store in Buena Park Mall

Fedco Inc., the Santa Fe Springs retailer, will be hiring 600 people next week to staff its 240,000-square-foot, three-level store at Buena Park Mall.
The members-only retail chain will open its biggest store at the mall Nov. 3. Michael Gantes, senior vice president, said 70% of the jobs will be full time and all will pay above minimum wage.
The company will interview applicants at the store’s mall entrance Monday through Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The store is at 8415 La Palma Ave.
“It’s a new kind of store for us, with three levels and everything from a food court to home furnishings,” Gantes said.
