Ahoy Mates! At Sea With the Stars of Sailing
It’s Walter Mitty time at the Bitter End Yacht Club on Virgin Gorda in the Virgin Islands.
The luxury resort is offering sailing enthusiasts a rare chance to crew for--and sail against--some of the world’s best sailers during the seventh Yachting Magazine Invitational Pro-Am Regatta, Oct. 30 through Nov. 5.
Weekend sailers will find themselves following orders issued by the likes of Dave Dellenbaugh, Ken Read, Jim Brady and Paul Cayard, among others, some of the biggest names in sailing.
The Pro-Am is one of eight themed weeks during the Bitter End’s Fast Tack Vacation Season, Oct. 23 through Dec. 23. An eight-day package for two starts at $1,890 (meals and rum punch included).
