COLLEGE FOOTBALL / DAILY REPORT : USC : Offensive Line Suffers Another Loss

Share

The loss of All-American offensive tackle Tony Boselli for several games is only the latest blow to USC’s offensive line.

Boselli, a 6-8, 295-pound junior, suffered a dislocated left kneecap Saturday in USC’s 38-7 loss at Arizona. He is the third offensive line starter to be injured since training camp. In addition, offensive tackle Len Gorecki, who started every game last season, suffered a knee injury before the season and still hasn’t played.

At Arizona, the Trojans finished the game with four offensive linemen who had never started a college game before this season.

The missing starters are Boselli (sidelined three to six weeks), guard Joel Crisman (expected to practice next week after sitting out three games because of an injured big toe), and junior guard Kris Pollack (expected back this or next week, after suffering a shoulder injury).
