Diet Coke Picks Loew & Partners: The majority of an estimated $95-million ad account has been handed to the New York agency. While Lowe will handle all English-language Diet Coke ads, its sister agency, Lintas: New York, which formerly handled the entire account, will at least temporarily handle Diet Coke ads in all foreign nations that sell the soft drink. The account review at one time elicited interest from several West Coast firms, including Venice-based Chiat/Day and Hollywood's Creative Artists Agency, which is already creating ads for the Coca-Cola brand.
