Library Is Vital to Santa Paula

Share

* What’s a community without a public library?

I grew up going to the library. When I was in school I did my homework and socialized with my friends at the library. The library was always a wholesome, educational and safe place to be.

But besides the obvious reasons, why is our public library so important to the community of Santa Paula? It’s quite simple: Our economic future may depend on it.

How many business leaders spent countless hours “at the library” when they were young?

How many business owners go to the library to research ways to start or better their businesses? How many young people decide on a career because they read about it in a book at the library?

So back to the question posed. What’s a community without a library? Sadly lacking, I’m afraid.

We must save Santa Paula’s library. It’s more than just good books. It is a vital link to our prosperous future.
