Statordyne Agreement: Statordyne Corp., a maker of electrical regulation systems for buildings, said Monday that it has signed an agreement with Americom SA of Mexico City to distribute the systems in Mexico. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Statordyne said Americom will buy one of its standard-size systems, which sell for $130,000 to $250,000, to use for demonstration. Later it may be used for a specific customer installation.
Statordyne in Anaheim makes backup generators. The systems also monitor power surges, and smooth out the electrical current.
Americom sells mechanical equipment, telecommunication systems and computer data centers in Mexico.
