Allergy Alert Issued on Kix Cereal: General Mills Inc. issued a precautionary alert for consumers with almond allergies who buy the company’s Kix breakfast cereal because a limited number of the packages may contain pieces of another General Mills breakfast cereal whose ingredients include almonds. The packages of Kix cereal potentially involved are 9-ounce and 13-ounce sizes with “Better If Used By” codes of 22 MAR 94 X212; 23 MAR 94 X212; or 23 MAR 94 X210 printed on the top of the box.
