ICU Medical Posts $495,000 in 3rd-Quarter Profit

ICU Medical Inc., the Irvine maker of medical connectors, posted a third-quarter profit of $495,000, or 7 cents a share, down from $1.2 million, or 17 cents a share, for the same period last year.

Revenue declined 4%, to $2.5 million from $2.6 million. Profit for the first three quarters totaled $2.2 million, or 30 cents a share, down 42% from the $3.8 million, or 56 cents a share, for the comparable 1992 period. Year-to-date sales were up 4%, to $7.7 million from $7.4 million.
