Garden Grove School Supt. to Retire
GARDEN GROVE —
School superintendent Ed Dundon announced his retirement Tuesday.
Dundon joined the Garden Grove Unified School District in 1961 as a teacher, later becoming a vice principal and, in 1973, superintendent.
“I’m 62 in January, and it’s time to pass the torch on,” Dundon told the school board.
The board will decide at its Nov. 2 meeting on how to fill Dundon’s post.
