Allergan Inc.: The Irvine health care company posted a profit of $30.1 million for the third quarter, unchanged from the previous year. Earnings per share were 46 cents and 44 cents, respectively. Sales were $216.9 million, up 3% from $211.3 million. For the first three quarters of 1993, profit was up 11% from the year-earlier period, to $78.4 million, or $1.18 a share, from $70.6 million, or $1.04 a share. Sales showed a 3% gain, to $627.6 million from $606.9 million.
