BUENA PARK : City Honors 7 for Well-Kept Properties

The city’s Beautification-Environmental Commission has honored seven residents and local businesses for maintaining well-kept buildings and grounds.
The contest, in which local businesses donated awards, recognizes those who are making the community a more attractive place in which to live, work and visit, sponsors said.
The City Council recently presented awards to the winners.
The award recipients and their categories include:
* Speech & Language Development Center, 8699 Holder St., Special Recognition Award;
* The Antonie Vander Baan family, residential.
* The Rodney Miller family, residential.
* The Thu Thi Mentor family, residential.
* Pain Center, 6714 Beach Boulevard, commercial.
* McDonald’s Restaurant, 7050 Knott Ave., commercial.
* Buena Villa Apartments, 7000 La Palma Ave, multi-tenant.
