Apple Introduces Multimedia Computer: Trying to entice students with an all-in-one device, the computer giant unveiled a computer, television and stereo rolled into one. The Macintosh TV lets a student write a paper on a word processing program, then, with the click of a computer mouse, check a word in a software dictionary, put on a compact disc or turn on a television show. The Cupertino, Calif.-based company said the Mac will list for $2,079.
