Family Reading Workshops Offered
Parents and their children are being invited to attend workshops encouraging people to make reading a family activity.
The two-hour workshops will be held at the La Habra branch of the Orange County Public Library on Thursday and at library headquarters in Santa Ana on Saturday.
The workshops begin at 6 p.m. in La Habra and 10 a.m. in Santa Ana.
Lynn Eisenhut, children’s coordinator for the Orange County Public Library, will present the program. Eisenhut will discuss developing a child’s interest in reading, family storytelling, selecting children’s books and developing reading appreciation and how to use the library.
