Hanoi to Discuss Rescheduling of Debt: Vietnam will discuss rescheduling its debts of about $4 billion to the West and its large debt to Russia in separate talks by the end of this year, bankers and Russian officials said. Rescheduling of the country’s debt to government creditors--the bulk of the hard currency debt--will take place at a meeting of the Paris club of creditor nations in mid-December, the bankers said. By the end of December, experts from Hanoi and Moscow will hold fresh talks on how Vietnam should repay its debt of about 10 billion rubles to Russia.
